Handmade Handbags

At the heart of the shop are our handmade handbags, individually created here in Castle Combe. Each bag is completely unique and made using a beautiful and varied selection of wool, mohair, tweed, upholstery fabrics, cotton, linen and mixed fibres.

What makes our handbags particularly special is the way they are created. No patterns are ever used. Every bag is made entirely freestyle, evolving naturally as the fabrics, colours, textures and details are brought together. There is no predetermined design and even the maker never knows exactly what the finished bag will look like until it is complete.

The result is a genuinely one-of-a-kind handbag. No two are ever exactly the same, making each piece an individual creation rather than a mass-produced design.

Original Paintings & Prints

Alongside our handmade bags, the shop offers original paintings of Castle Combe throughout all four seasons, together with a selection of framed prints. These are also locally hand-painted here in the village and celebrate the beauty and character of Castle Combe throughout the year.

Scarves & Gifts

You will also find a changing selection of summer and winter scarves, together with a variety of other gifts.
