Opening in 2017, Philippa and Yasmin wanted to create a cosy home away from home experience for those visiting the picturesque village of Castle Combe.

Relax on the sofa with the paper, warm up by the log burner in the colder months or bask in the sunshine with an iced latte come summer.

You will always find one of us behind the counter and we welcome everyone with a warm smile — mucky dogs, sweaty cyclists and even the odd ponies are ushered in.

Our coffee is locally roasted, cakes locally made and a small selection of produce and gifts is available.

Halfway along Castle Combe's main street, our takeaway service keeps things simple and special. We serve just one thing: our beautifully prepared Afternoon Tea Picnic Box, complete with a drink. The picnic is vegetarian by default and can be pre-ordered or, subject to availability, ordered on the day, at £22 per person.

For guests with specific dietary needs, we also offer a range of special picnic boxes, including gluten free, gluten and dairy free, dairy free, and vegan options. These must be pre-ordered with at least 24 hours' notice to ensure everything is prepared just right.

To elevate the experience, you can choose our fully kitted hamper hire, available when ordering two or more picnics. The hamper option costs an additional £4 per person and must be returned to us on the same day.
